Shipping Policy
Please allow 1 to 3 business days to process your order. We ship your order using flat rate listed below:
- Free shipping: this is media mail. It is usually slow and some times very slow. We ask you to be patient if you choose to use media mail to ship your order. Please only send query about your order after 15 business days, that is 21 calendar days.
- Priority shipping: $7.99 will be charged from using USPS priority/FCM shipping. It usually take 5 to 7 business day, some times 3 to 5 business day. We could ship using this method to all the 50 US states and PR. Please note we reserve the right to adjust shipping method when the shipping cost is much higher than charged.
- Express shipping: $29.99 flat rate for express shipping. We use US Postal service Express Mail as carrier. It usually take 1 to 3 business day to most area of the country. It may take longer to the remote area. No delivery on weekend and holidays. There is no refund for the express shipping charge once we have shipped your order. Please check the estimated time for delivery with above USPS. We have no control once the package leaves our facility.
- International shipping: $19.99 will be charged. We ship international orders from our suppliers directly to your address. It usually take 12 to 16 business day, some times even longer due to the customs of your country. We are not responsible for any custom tax or fees.
Return/Exchange Policy
You may return
any merchandise purchased at
http://www.dvdbyte.com provided that the return meets the guidelines
described below. Please email us in advance to obtain an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) within
the time period specified below. Please make sure you have your order number included in the email for quicker
processing.
Return guidelines:
- DVD player, MP3/MP4, PC components, mobile video, GPS and HDD enclosures must be returned within 14 days of the sale date, and (except where prohibited by law) are subject to a 15% restocking fee if returned opened or in a non-factory sealed box.
- There is no restocking fee for defective product returned in exchange for the exact same product, or for product originally purchased as Open Box.
- There is no restocking fee for DVD/CD set returned to us un-opened. Please note again shipping fees are not refundable if you want a refund rather than exchange.
- You will be responsible for all shipping and insurance charges for returns, unless otherwise indicated. If you choose not to insure your package, and we do not accept return of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage.
- Opened DVD/CD may be exchanged for the same title only. If you disregard this policy and return DVD/CD set for refund, you have to return them within 30 days starting from the order date. 25% restocking fee will be charged to any open DVD/CD returns or unopen returns after 30 days. NO EXCEPTION to this policy. Please take advantage of the free exchange policy to avoid this fee. The fee is charged to keep our low price offering to all of our customers.
- Orders could not be canceled once shipped. Please contact us if you no longer want the order after your order is processed and shipped, you need to return the order after its delivery. Under no circumstances should you refuse the delivery and demand full refund. Shipping cost will be deducted from refund if the delivery was refused. You will also be responsible for the return shipping cost if you refuse the delivery.
- Clearance items could not be returned for refund, but it may be exchanged if defective. Disregard this policy will result in a 25% fee deducted from the refund. The fee applies regardless the clearance item is open or not.
We offer free exchange for any defective DVD/CD disks. Please email us if you have confirmed that the DVD/CD is defective. Please ship back the defective disc to us. Once we check the disk and confirm it is defective, we will send you a replacement for free. We will also pay the shipping fee to ship the replacement. We don't reimburse the shipping cost, please ship the defective disc(s) to us at your own cost.
Follow these directions to return by mail::
* Include all original packing materials, manuals, inserts, box, cover art, and
accessories with the product to avoid any additional fees.
* Include the RMA number with your product and indicate the reason for the
return. We recommend you return items via UPS ground or insured USPS for proof
of delivery. We also recommend that you reuse the original shipping carton and
packing materials.
* If the product was not damaged, defective or the wrong item was shipped, you
are responsible for all shipping charges in addition to the restocking fees. If
the DVD/CD set was free shipping when you order, the actual shipping cost will be
deducted from refund.
* Please allow 10 business days for processing your refund. 10 business days should be counted from after the first day we receive your return. Any attempt of charge back without first return the merchandise back to us, or any charge back before the required 10 business days processing time will occur a $25 fee. This is a fee from the charge back process charged to us. Please give enough time for processing the refund.
* Please do not return items COD. Any charges incurred by us for COD
shipments will be subtracted from the amount of the returned item. You will be
returned the difference. If the COD cost exceeds the value of the returned
product, the credit card used for the original purchase will be charged for the
remaining balance.
